He demands that Max get him what he wants or he'll kill Molly. After repairing himself, Extroyer morphs into a giant gorilla and fights Max.
Steel then talks to Max about the memories he received after scrambling Extroyer's Ultra-Link, and reveals there used to be another Max Steel look-alike before him. Max and Steel are in a road trip on the search to N-Tek's true mission, but instead, they find Dredd and Jason Naught who are looking for a transmitter that will show them all of N-Tek's locations.
After a fierce battle, N-Tek arrives and defeates Dredd but he escapes with Naught. Forge reveals to Max that there are hundreds of transmitters across the world and since he only had half of the device he only received part of the information. When Toxzon's pet plastic goldfish goes missing he holds the world hostage by poisoning all the oceans until Fishy is found.
Then Max was rescued by Toxzon, who seem to had survived and wants Fishy back. Then Forge reveals to had thrown it to the trash.
Then they made a copy of Fishy. Then Toxzon found out it was not Fishy. Then Forge came with Fishy and then Toxzon had Fishy and did his promise. Toxzon was so powerful that even Max Steel couldn't defeat him. Then at the end, Vin and Dwayne are fishing in a water fountain and then a Toxic Seagull came and scared them. Due to his super hero duties as of late, Max has been failing school.
His teacher while rummaging through his bag in search of his science project stumbles upon Steel. Initially planning to get Steel back Max realizes that the accidental deception is his only hope of a passing grade, passing with flying colors when the teacher is led to believe it's a electronic shoe warmer. The next day Extroyer learns of the Ultra-Link on display at the school and buys it, inspired by their last encounter Extroyer has created a device to 'unleash all of his powers at once.
After narrowly retrieving Steel in time Max is able to force Extroyer to surrender, escaping at the last moment by setting the adapter to self destruct. Back at school Max decides to make a honest attempt at a science project, while not looking as impressive as Steel the teacher decides to pass Max any way. When the Elementors can't stop arguing with themselves, they settle their differences by splitting up and hunting for Max Steel.
Meanwhile, Steel hypnotizes Berto so he and Max can gain information about N-Tek's top secret files, but they later find out he doesn't have any secrets. During his fight with the four Elementors, Max Steel use a new Turbo Cannon Mode to defeat them, causing them to retreat.
Steel then apologizes to Berto, who regained his conscience. Back to Dredd's base, the Elementors agree to fuse themselves together into Ultimate Elementor once again due to the fact their hatred for each other and for Max Steel has increased more while they're separated.
When N-Tek decides that they need assistance taking down Elementor, they enlist a very unlikely ally- Toxzon to create a toxic formula to defeat him, but Toxzon soon reveals it is actually a poison to mind-control Elementor. At the end, N-Tek says that if Elementor or Toxzon tries to attack their base again they'll be ready. Sydney and Kirby want to help out Max Steel as thanks for all the times he saves the day that they decided to get weapons from N-Tech to take out Extroyer.
Meanwhile, Ferrus and Molly finally tell Max and Steel the whole truth that Max's father hooked up with Steel and became the first Max Steel so he could help N-Tek stop the other Evil Ultra-Liks from destroying earth so their leader can devour it. He says there will be more ships coming and that the attack they did was just the beginning, there will be more aliens and beings from outerspace who will come and try to invade earth and prepare for the Invasion.
When Max and N-Tek were expecting an attack of Makino and his Ultralinks, they faced with Dredd and his Megalinks, and in addition, a new, powerful and mysterious warrior comes to Earth to capture leads and Steel it to the Black Star Council. Ven Ghan has captured Steel and Dredd has an extra Ultralink that is upgraded and very powerful. So they must now rescue Steel and also stop Dredd. Along to that, Max has a dream about the past of Steel and his father, and find out new things.
When an Ultralink bonds with Fishy and then turns into Plaztek, there is a lot of trouble going on when he teams up with Toxzon.
When Makino looked back at some clips of the Elementors being defeated by Max Steel and being a fail, he orders for a fifth Elementor. But when the fifth Elementor is born, Metal Elementor, he becomes a big trouble and threat for Max Steel to defeat. Steel gets a cybernetic dog named Furbo and Extroyer is back, in search of a Giant Centipede Monster.
Miles Dredd is in the ocean floor, searching for the Turbo Star. Toxzon attempts to destroy Max Steel inside a deadly video game. Mega Metal Elementor launches the perfect attack on Max Steel while he's on vacation on a tropical, South Pacific island. Makino's humanoid form arrives on Earth through a massive wormhole and leads a devastating attack as he tries to defeat Max Steel and N-Tek. On the destroyer in Earth's orbit, Max must save Steel from Makino and stop him from opening a portal that will bring his armada through to Earth.
Max and Steel decide they need the Turbo Star to defend Earth from Makino, who is now back with his armada and on his way to Earth. And when Dredd offers him the pieces if he can come up with the third piece, Max must first locate the missing piece and then decide if Dredd can be trusted.
To his surprise Max is actually making friends with a bully, Butch. However when an Ultralink attacks and bonds with Butch, they become linked and it's up to Max to separate them. After getting framed by Extroyer, Max must work to prove his innocence and repair his good name. Halloween Night and Max is locked inside the Museum with the rest of his class from school. But, when they accidentally stumble upon a meteor that is a chunk of Takion, they inadvertently alert Mega Metal Elementor to its existence.
An Ultralink that isn't quite sure it wants to be fighting for the Glory of Makino any more hides from Mega Metal Elementor.
Makino has created what he thinks is the programming antidote to Steel's anomaly and reboot him. However the reprogramming fails and does something even stranger. When one of N-Tek's Hellicarriers gets infected with a virus and starts plummeting to the ground, it's up to Max to try and get the deactivation code from an old enemy - Toxzon. However since the loss of Fishy, Toxzon is now comatose and his own bodies toxins are destroying him. It's now up to Max to detoxify Toxzon and retrieve the code before the carrier crashes.
While Ven-Ghan is convinced of Steel's innocence and now his ally, the Black Star Council still seeks justice against the "evil" Steel. Using a captured UltraLink, Toxzon draws Max and Steel into a virtual video game world with real world consequences.
The search for the next TURBO Star fragment leads parties into an abandoned copper mine where a legendary monster is rumored to dwell. Mega Elementor unleashes his entire assault team on Max, hoping to catch the boy hero off guard during his secluded tropical island vacation with friends. Extroyer creates a scorpion army to throw against Makino, but a reckless Max Steel movie production in Copper Canyon draws his angry attentions first.
Blast Link infects Steel with a virus that eats away his connection to Max but also brings back memories of the Battle of Tachyon and Max' father. Extroyer decides to ruin the reputation of Max Steel by vandalizing the city while impersonating him. A Halloween night trip to the museum brings Max and friends in contact with two UltraLinks linked to faulty grim reaper exhibits. Only timid, clever Torbolt surprisingly outclasses his rowdy colleagues and is hence granted praise and the nickname 'the Terrible'.
Steel takes a beating but manages to appeal to the kindred spirit's noble doubts about the Makino cause until he too defects. Max and Steel enjoy testing Berto's eleven-fold improved motorcycle; however, when Steel's sensors notice worrying stress in Sydney actually just over a school dance invitation , they rush off at TURBO-like speed and wreck it after a collision with an UltraLink.
Both incidents seem false alerts, but the Elementor equipped the UltraLink with a virus, which has reprogrammed Max and Steel. It was intended to incapacitate both, but they manage to reboot, only in swapped personality. Exhausted after helping build N-Tek's defensive spacecraft platform Daedalus to fight off Makino's armada, Max returns to school under protest.
He soon must be recalled as Dredd has instructed Jason Naught to intrude it and set-off a destructive virus left behind in the hastily used Toxzon technology. Naught, trapped himself, tells Forge that the only one who can stop it is the original programmer: Toxzon.
Max Steel finds him, totally wrecked since losing Fishy, but must motivate him to help against the dearly-missed pet's 'killers', and first heal him. Steel manages to free them and cause a crash. Max joins them in the canyon zone. Although Forge explicitly forbids it again, Max and Steel refuse to just trust his Daedalus platform and decide to try seizing the star from Dredd. Ignoring its hiding place, they release and follow Jason Naught, who indeed leads them to Dredd's secret underwater base.
Thanks to Berto's new holographic clone gimmick, they manage to steal the star.
